The story is well written and light-hearted. It's easy to follow through and I found it quite fun. I connected most to Emery. She's a well written character.

Even though they get a second chance at love after eight years of separation, Delilah (Lilah) has to learn how to say no sometimes to Ethan.She has to put some boundaries between them as Ethan is intense and compulsive while Lilah is more of a logical thinker and strategic.

I would say I enjoyed Real Men Knit more than Knot Again. In Knot Again, the breakup and reconciliation bit didn't add up. It felt rushed and simply meh!!! There was no that excitement that comes with it. I simply enjoyed the diversity and Lucas's character.

They get a second chance at love as they navigate different issues. Sydney struggles to regain her identity after divorce while Lucas deals with past traumas.

Honestly No subplot was noteworthy. The story should've ended in the 1st book. That cliffhanger would've been a welcomed mercy.

I believe you can read the second book foregoing the first one and you won't miss out on anything. The sequel is a repetition of the prequel with minimal progress to their relationship.

The books are more about 'political romance' if there's a genre like that. It gets to a point Lennix becomes exasperating and you just want to dnf the whole thing.

*The Rebel King* and * The KingMaker* tells the story of Maxim & Lennix. From falling in love at first sight, meeting again after a spell of time and separated again for almost a decade, finding each other again and fighting against all odds to stay together.

I now understand the controversy behind this book. It's not pretty at all.
I genuinely did not like the book. It left a sour taste in my mouth.

The Alchemist makes you want to go after your dreams, even after you've given up or experienced so many detours on your journey that you become hopeless and all you want to do is settle. It reminds you the universe will always be on your side. It's written!!!

Lots of misery and sadness. I feel like the characters got to experience a bit of happiness in the last chapter and that was the epilogue.
I'm glad I'm done though.

This was a fun and easy read. Fast paced, hilarious while being emotional at the same time. Content warning is provided, there are scenes of emotional and physical abuse.
