I’m not an expert on copyright; but you do need to create comics and show your skills to people in the industry before you can get paid work. I’m not sure how else to do it. When I first started, I wrote/drew a 10 page story and showed it around everywhere I could

My favorite thing so far is the stunning architecture- I could just walk around all day admiring the buildings, bridges, churches, libraries… I’m also having fun finding weird little shops with unusual trinkets and things I’ve never seen before (Bric a Brac is one i found in old town).

There’s not really one perfect answer to this unfortunately- everyone has gotten into the industry in different ways. I’d recommend submitting to publishers (follow their guidelines), tabling at comic cons, going to portfolio reviews there, and collaborating with other creatives online

Ooh good question! I buy most of my clothes from thrift stores/vintage stores, shout out to comic book shops (in Portland it was Books with Pictures and Cosmic Monkey Comics). Helioscope in Portland is a fabulous collective of indie comics creators, definitely follow them :)
