Very much so; object drawing and measuring in perspective is one of the few things I'm really glad I picked up at art school, as it's proven super useful for all sorts of things (outfits, anatomy, backgrounds, props, etc. etc.)

That works too! Depending on how organic the shoe is or the drawing angle, I'll sometimes take that approach too. Having a bunch of little tricks and methods in your back pocket definitely speeds things up in the long run, as you always have a few different approaches ready to go! 😊

It is! Forearms and biceps don't bend or change in length no matter how they're flexing or twisting, so the movement is quite similar ☺️

Yep! I try to keep the shapes very rough and low-fidelity to get all the motion and timing figured out before I commit to drawing 😊
