The reality is that what is being conveyed to the public is that you can say the sort of stuff Graham Linehan says, with the same malice and frequency, even to minors, and it's perfectly okay - because the "reason" is essentially an acceptable prejudice.

@mariecgoldman.bsky.social a suggestion for you to ask the Health Secretary why he continually refuses to respond to or engage with loving parents of trans kids, but continues to engage with Bayswater who are a hateful, harmful group actively working to hurt trans children.

I’ve been dealing with my own share of (non trans related) medical trauma and mistreatment for the past decade. All my sympathies to you.

I'm not exaggerating. It literally says trans people can be banned from all facilities entirely leaving them with nowhere to go at all. Since this covers public restrooms, workplaces, gyms, etc, this is effectively a full on ban on the participation of trans people in British society.

We also have the issue that NHS Trusts are outright lying or otherwise being misleading in their response to PFD reports. Tavistock & Portman haven’t introduced any of the waiting list support they claimed they were going to. They continue to lie and do nothing and I don’t know what to do about it.
