Crumbs! I finally got to 250k subs on YouTube, a mere 19.5 years after starting there, which also means Cameralabs is 20 years old! So not only does that justify a celebratory Tiramisu but I've also made a video to thank you all for your support over the years! See below, cheers!

Uncropped handheld shot I took with the brand new SONY 100MM F2.8 MACRO GM close to its maximum magnification of 1.4:1 - yes, more than 1:1 life-size, and it even works with TCs for 2.8:1! In short, the best macro lens I've tested, but do check out my in-depth review below!

This is the new Viltrox AF 56mm F1.2 Pro, a high-end but affordable prime for APSC systems, including Sony-e and Fujifilm-X. But how good is it really? To find out, I tested it side-by-side with Fujifilm's own 56 1.2 and Sigma's 56 1.4. Find out how it measures-up at www.youtube.com/watch?v=casM...

Today OM System launched a seriously good zoom: the 50-200mm f2.8 IS Pro. In addition to my normal tests, I tried it at an all-day surf life saving event with plenty of sea spray and sand, like this shot of Wales and Cornwall diving for the beach flags! Review linked below!

Canon has just launched the RF 85mm f1.4L VCM, their fifth hybrid prime lens. I had a chance to compare it against the RF 85mm f2 Macro, RF 85mm f1.2L USM and the old EF 85mm f1.4L for some initial tests at www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIox...

Canon has officially announced the EOS C50 cinema camera, and I've spent a brief time with one to bring you my first-looks review linked below! It debuts a new 32 MP full-frame sensor, can record 7k 60p RAW, and sports a design that looks a lot like a Sony FX3. See www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUTF...

Sigma's just launched THREE new full-frame lenses, and I've been working round the clock to bring you videos about all of them! There's a 135 f1.4 bokeh-monster, a new Mark II 35 f1.2, and a 20-200 ultra-wide super-zoom, links to them all below!

Sony caught us all out with the surprise announcement of the RX1R III, which updates the 9-year-old full-frame compact with a 61 MP sensor and their latest AF. There's more upgrades but also some cons that could be deal-breakers. Find out more in my quick preview at www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSFN...

Anamorphic lenses with their signature flares and bokeh have become really popular for giving your video a cinematic edge. In my latest video I'll show you how to use them, while also reviewing the Sirui 20 T1.8 with AF on the new Lumix S1II! See www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB7J... #anamorphic

It feels like everyone reviewed the new Lumix S1 II body, but who's also tested the new 24-60 2.8 zoom launched alongside it? I'll tell you who... ME! It's really nice too: smaller, lighter & cheaper than a 24-70 2.8 without sacrificing the wide-end. Here's my review www.youtube.com/watch?v=99xU...

This is the new Lumix S1 II, Panasonic's best hybrid photo / video camera to date, and my favourite in the series! I've made a detailed review for you showing not just video capabilities, but loads of photo tests too, as this is a great all-rounder! See www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LyO...

Sigma's new 300-600mm f4 zoom really is a game-changer for high-end sports and wildlife, costing half that of a typical 600 f4, with the added flexibility of zooming-out to 300. The quality is great too. Check out my review of Sigma's most pro lens to date at www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGD4...

Fujifilm's latest instax camera, the fully-analogue mini 41, launched today, and I've made a review of it for you, linked in the reply! It's a sub-100 budget model, but now with more grown-up looks than a mini 12! #instax

The seaside town of Kamakura packs lovely temples, a giant bronze Buddha, cute electric train, and a beach with views of Mount Fuji. Only one hour from Tokyo, it's one of the best day trips for visitors and I've made a video showing how to get there and what to do! Link in reply!

Love the X100 but wish it had a bigger, more detailed sensor? Fujifilm: hold my beer. A warm welcome to the new #GFX100RF which packs the 102 Megapixel medium format sensor of the GFX100S II into a compact fixed lens body with a great EVF and 35 f4 lens. My first-looks in reply!
