Been reading up on a lot of science lately. If you use your hand and fingers to hold a red balloon 🎈 in front of a fire 🔥, the balloon will distort the perceived color of the fire in order to make it ALSO appear to be red, despite the fire actually being orange… 🧵 (1/9)
