This angers me so much. Friends were to visit Monday. He’s been sick (‘the flu’) and they took no precautions so she’s now sick. They were still going to visit! ‘It’s a cold and I took echanesia’ she said. She works with seniors. Unmasked

Grapes. The hens were at my feet, the dog brought me a stick to throw and the other doggo and cat said hello too. A fine day to pick grapes and as it happens, with frost coming tonight, the last day!

Hippies helping each other! A friend took a bucket and will give the friend who gifted the grapes, some cheese. I gave the farm friend some salsa verde I’d canned up. We share tomato seeds, cuttings of perennials and friendship.

Grape jelly. I got 18 cups of juice which will make about 18 cups of grape jelly. That’ll get me through the winter.

I spent the afternoon at my friend’s farm, surrounded by her hens, cats and dogs, picking grapes. What a gift! I’m elbows deep in processing them now.
