If I’m in public and you see me quietly drift, I’m probably thinking about movies. They’re pretty neat.
Predator: Badlands proves once again @dantrachtenberg.bsky.social is the man for the job. Wickedly fun, imaginative and surprisingly touching, this one will have you thumping your chest at the end ready to represent your clan.

If Paramount were to acquire WBD, it would be a shitshow. So, let me speak to David Zaslav now…

Hey Dave. Y’all are having a hell of a year. Look at those all those #1 films and all those moneys. For once, don’t just be a mindless investor chasing payouts. Choose art. Choose legacy. Choose WB.

#Bugonia is another banger from the powerful combo of Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone. Darkly funny, mixing both relevant political commentary and the absurd, reflecting our propensity for violence based in fear and our hope to be free of it. Easily one of the best endings of the year.

Just finished all five episodes of #MrScorsese. An insightful look into the man behind many of cinema’s modern classics. Anger, hope, faith, sin, love, obsession: all are facets of (arguably) the greatest living director of our age. Check it out. Then watch a Scorsese flick after.

Saw #AHouseofDynamite this evening. Really recommend this one because tensions in the world are totally not high at all right now.
A ★★★★ review of A House of Dynamite (2025)
Kathryn Bigelow is back with her penchant for white-knuckle tension and real world, shit sandwich scenarios. The movie opens with a cold truth, that the world has walked back the smart idea to have fe...
