It's been a busy weekend! After taking part in the world record on Friday, we were off to help clean the Afon Lwyd in Croesyceiliog on Saturday, then to St Mellons today. Over 50 bags of rubbish, plus the usual trolleys, tyres etc each day.

We did it! We are officially a Guinness World Record holder!
226 volunteers took part in our bit of the #tafftidy attempt the break the world record.
We cleared
162 bags general rubbish
19 bags recycling
6 builders bags hard plastics

The day is finally here. How much rubbish will we clean from the Taff, how many people will we inspire to carry on litter picking, and last, will we break the @guinnessworldrecords.com for the biggest ever river clean at multiple locations?

On Friday 21 March, CRG will join groups along the River Taff to attempt a @guinnessworldrecords.com for the most participants in a river-clean-up (multiple locations).

Yesterday morning, our fantastic volunteers cleared around 100 bags of litter from around Fisherman's Quay on the banks of the river Ely.
