My wife arrived home today, walked up the new front steps & into the house by herself.
She has a lot more to take care of besides PT, so not to the finish line yet. But for now today is a good day. 💙

Back 50 years ago in the SF East Bay there was an artist open house weekend around the holidays. My favorite was the glassblowers in West Oakland. It's still around as a different organization.

I went by Peace Corner (after getting my wife home) in time to repair & brighten up the chalk for the regular ralliers. I also added a new one Tommy is pictured with.

My wife said take a picture. If I took one photo of each ER or hospital room she's been in it would be a sizable gallery. Since the pinned welcome home post this is her 3rd visit to the ER. But this time we got here ourselves & hopefully the xray & ekg come back "good" & we get back home today. 💙

I got this H.R. Giger litho from Robert Berry several years ago & I'm finally going to get it framed as a bday gift to myself. I'm not sure if I should just go with grey & black, or add a blue-ish matte for some color.
