The UK uses c227,000 miles of wrapping paper each year – & an estimated 83 square kilometres of wrapping paper isn't recycled. So choosing sustainable wrapping paper, & disposing of it responsibly by recycling, is an important way to cut Christmas waste.

Looking out the front bedroom window at the empty green field opposite, I noticed a brown thing moving in the grass. Looking through my binoculars, I saw a curlew feeding. Then, to my delight, I discovered not just one but eleven curlew feasting in the field. #happiness
