With thanks to Sevenoaks Town Council and Sevenoaks Soroptimists for the meeting today to discuss how a town council works. Important for us here in Tunbridge Wells as we have the opportunity to have our say on whether we would like an elected parish or town council in the near future

What a revelation yesterday's visit to The Guildhall Art Gallery was. Plan to visit again. Took the free guided tour with City of London guide David Woosnam and experienced the art through his eyes and the group's discussion.

The suffragettes are among those to be honoured with a heritage plaque in Tunbridge Wells. The plaque on their former headquarters in the Pantiles is one of several to be put up by the Civic Society supported by funding from Royal Tunbridge Wells Together. #TunbridgeWells

Yesterday was my husband's birthday, we did what he would have wanted, positive action. We helped plant trees in Tunbridge Wells. A hard day but a good way to come together. #tunbridgewells
