As a former council cabinet member, I know how tough 14 years of austerity has been.
That’s why this week I pressed the First Minister for a commitment from the Welsh Government to use every tool to shield councils & public services from inflationary pressures, while other parties risk more cuts.

At FMQs this week, I asked @prifweinidog.gov.wales about the £120m Welsh Government investment in fixing roads and pavements.
This is vital for local authorities and I'm delighted that the First Minister is listening to the concerns of residents here in North Wales.
