Oh, B613. It's better to just engage in vibes-based viewing. 😂 Let the plot wash over you like a gentle wave.

I wish you had been watching back in the day. We ALL were like "what???" but it was fun to be confused in a crowd. I don't know what season you're in, but believe it or not it gets weirder

Back when The Root was good, there was a thread about this that was absolutely hysterical. People were SHAKEN 😂 Apparently Bobby Caldwell himself was a very good sport about it all.

I'm cooking and playing your playlist -- thank you for an opportunity to share my favorite game with my family, "I bet you didn't know Bobby Caldwell was white." I am blowing some minds over here

You don't need bamboo metaphors when you write with that kind of energy.

As a FAMU grad, thank you 🧡💚 If we can't have FAMU, though, it at least looks like they brought in some liveliness by inviting Alcorn State 💜💛

Do you find people engage with the piece more thoughtfully now? I remember when it came out how fierce the pushback was...I loved when you wrote the "real blonds" feel "being blond should mean something for them but not mean anything for the rest of us. That is not how status works."

When I was remodeling my kitchen I used Claude to help me weigh different design options, draw up schedules for when I needed to do different tasks, answer questions about what to expect, etc. It's remarkable how easily it is to treat something as human that PRESENTS as human.

Nooooo! But, you know, I know where you're coming from. Good mangos are SO GOOD but I've had a few that tasted like raw potato 😭

Of this group I may ditch pears. I've had some weird-ass gritty pears.

I have never been so thankful for a paywall. It has saved me from myself.

OOOoooh. Consider me "influenced!" I'm already looking up more info about the keyboard AND the chair. I never considered a gaming chair as a non-gamer, but, of course it would be helpful for a person who has a desk job, too.

😅 I am a total pacifist and would never punch anyone unprovoked, but, yeah. Even my feeble self has been taught to keep your thumb on the outside of your fist, lead with the first two knuckles, punch out straight and hard from the shoulder and put your hips into it.

I appreciated that the segments gave space for people to tell their own stories. You know how sometimes in our business we see ourselves as "intercessors," which can be pretty patronizing (and I'm sure I've done it myself)

Ooh, a queen 😬 One was flying around my bathroom yesterday while my kid was taking a shower (he was not happy.)

I know but 1988 wasn't that long ago 😭😭

Wait, I was in college when this came out -- it was theee soundtrack to my freshman year -- and I'm just 54 😭 (ok I guess that is old, damn)
