People saying her platform should be used for awareness & promoting issues is ridiculous. She used her platform to endorse Harris & it didn't make a difference. I'd rather a rich artist DO good works with her money than talk about stuff on social media. Posting with no action is for Elon types.

So why did Hilary endorse Cuomo? Obama took the time to say some positive things about him but didn't actually go as far as to endorse. Nah it's not that. Also, Cuomo wasn't running under blue so not 'safe'. It was establishment vs progressive and those who kept quiet made their choice known.

Obama went to her rally. He did fully support that 'flavor of dem' which is the same kind who got the US into this mess for not being progressive enough & being beholden to monied interests. That's the point. This is a win for progressives and it's frightening to establishment Dems.

It's engagement and trolling. You can tell because it's the same few criticisms rephrased over and over, no nuance or discussion. Everything I see on Bluesky, Instagram and all fans I've talked to in real life have no complaints.

It's not a purity test to ask that a dem candidate who advertises themselves as progressive/feminist & parades left leaning celebrities at their rallies adhere to those ideals instead of introducing a platform for establishment Republicans & embracing the right's talking points.

nah they both could have gone more left and truly embraced the Hope/Change & Pink Hat/BRAT feminist brands they promoted but neither did. Instead they tried to out right the fascists to appease monied interests. They may have made better presidents but they were horrible candidates, by choice.

She soft launched it on his podcast. l think directions to not post is coming directly from her. The people that posted so far are actually involved w/ the album. Maybe she wants to promote it without outside influence. Also the promo is not complete yet, I think their silence is by design.

If by shrunk their audience you mean no longer replying to bots, their replies are not hidden and their feed is not taken over by advertisers then I guess you're right? Nobody left twitter because they didn't want to debate, they left because it's now designed so you can't make an impact.

They are currently performing the largest tour ever and are second only to Taylor Swift for gross sales for said tour. This tour is also very focused on environmental initiatives. I don't think liking them is cringe or strange at all, not now or in the mid 2000s.

My mom had a chair like this in the 90s but the pattern was slightly different. It was THE most comfortable chair. Enjoy!

I find the TTPD one itchy, but not my Lover or Fearless for some reason. But the Folklore dupe I got on Etsy is by far the most comfortable. The color and potential for discomfort with the sparkles unfortunately makes this one no-buy for me.

How have we all decided that plastic straws and bags are horrible but balloons upon balloons upon balloons for a short time at one event is ok? I've always hated them and see no point. Can we not be more creative and sustainable with our celebration decor?
