Woot #yyj! I live in Saanich, one of the suburbs. Much of its protected network is quick build curbed lanes - not as pretty maybe but much of it added in the last few years. They're putting the finishing touches on the main project but it's already made a world of difference in where I'll ride to.

I don't have a good answer but dealing with cost of living is a start. People who are worried about rent and food don't always have a lot left for anything else.

Even growing up in Alberta, I referred to it as Hydro ... though I had also lived in BC - maybe I was the only one in AB calling it Hydro 😂
