I wanna specify that while this is a first time playthrough, I did a bunch of research last year on the Sky trilogy before playing Crossbell.
So I know the twists and key points on a macro level, but the finer details are gonna be fresh. Also my memory is hazy so I likely forgot a lot of stuff.

Just finished watching "The Wrong Way to use Healing Magic" and I was shocked.

This is definitely an isekai that stands out from what many would call generic or slop. Very likeable cast with fun interactions, really good animation and even some good fights.

Need season 2 ASAP

Sorry for the cheesy post, but I was just feeling a bit sentimental for Rean and Cold Steel.

It annoys me that people get stuck on the "anime self-insert harem king" tones and ignore his actual character and traits.

He's probably the first character I've felt connected to in this deep of a way.

One reason (probably the biggest) as to why I adore Rean so much is that he becomes a teacher just like me for similar reasons.

His experience in Class VII makes him want to carry on its spirit just like my experiences with music in school made me want to pass it on to my own students later in life

It was nice to finally experience where it all started in a beautiful package. From what I understand this is a great example of a proper remake. Bringing the original into a fully fleshed out and beautiful package. Stellar JRPG-faire on display here!

I already am not a fan of Pikmin 4 having such a clean and pristine interior of a house, I think this is starting to burst the envelope.
I need more wilderness.

not sure I worded that right like how I wanted.

What I mean is that the scaling of the Trails universe has only increased, so any future appearances of these two is going to have to pull double duty in making them feel powerful.

We've come a long way from classic Adventure Guild and JRPG-faire.

I don't think it's crazy to say thay Estelle and Lloyd really need some more flair.

Estelle is a great Bracer, but from what I understand is lapped by her partner Joshua in terms of crazy skills and training.

Lloyd just has indomitable human spirit. Give him a legendary mentor or something.

The racial microaggressions (and sometimes straight up racism) towards Zin are so shocking whenever I hear them I can't help but laugh 😂

Yeaahhhh now that I've finally approaching the end of my first Trails in the Sky experience with 1st Chapter, I really want to hunker down and blast through the original trilogy.

It'll definitely have to be after Pokemon Legends and Ghost of Yotei though.

It's been great so far.
Even though I studied up on the Sky games last year before starting Crossbell, this is my first time playing the game, so while I know most of the twists, I forgot how most of the events play out.
