Quick thoughts, 7-ish hours into Octopath Traveler 0 :
It seems like this early-game combat is quite easier than the other two OT games, though I'm confident things will balance out here soon.
Music is great though I sigh a little everytime I hear a reused track, though its not at all surprising.

Is it a hot take to say if a Pokemon that's normally part of a pair or counterparts gets a Mega, that the other one should too?
Like Mega Dragalge but not Clawitzer? Mega Slowbro but not Slowking?

I'm really hoping Octopath Traveler 0 pops off in the gaming space! Hopefully more people go back and play the first two games, ESPECIALLY OT2.

I decided to restart the game and not carry over my demo data because my friend is also doing it and I want to have parallel playthroughs.
I also remade my character as an OC with a similar but different name to my own rather than a completely original guy.

While it didn't top my experience with Pikmin 3, it did get the closest out of the three others. After experiencing the rest of the series prior, there were a number of changes here that I both liked and didn't, though the positives do vastly outweight any negatives.
