Solution: Feign “responsible adult behavior” & establish an all-hard-pants washing day on Saturday mornings. All hard pants plop into washer because rules & you get soft pants all day.

If for some ungodly reason you have to change into hard pants later, at least they’ll be straight-from-dryer-warm.
