These are just like. My rough planning sketches. I'm still working out finished designs of them

The original drawings I did bc I can't remember if they're on this blog or not. It's called an Ofunki and is a mix of an okapi, a blue-ringed octopus, and shelf fungus.

Finished the pinup drawing I was working on of my fursona. Changed the pose a little bc the lineart looked wierd, but I'm happy with it :)

Had to put the headshot practice in two posts bc there's a limit of 4 images apparently, but here's the other ones I did while practicing design styles/shapes. Also I realized while doing this that Pokemon look weird looking straight ahead

Been working on drawing some characters I like that have different styles and shapes to em, to see if my design style plan is working. Since these are just face design work, I drew them all looking straight ahead bc I wanted something uniform. Also didn't do any work on clothes yet, that's later

First practice on a finished image in a new style. I decided to start with my tapir fursona. Changed the ears to look more like tapir ears, and switched the braids to a ponytail bc I feel like that's more fitting bc irl I'm too lazy to braid it.
But then I decided I wanted a glass eye bc why not

I'm bad at practicing bc my brain kinda checks out when it comes to drawing a bunch of the same thing, so I'm starting by drawing some different potential styles for eyes, faces, noses, bodies, etc. So far I've done eyes and faces, working on noses rn

Got as far as Dialogue images and got hit with the "Wow my art style sucks" wave.
Followed by the "can't find any resources on improving style that go beyond Draw It 50000 Times And Magically Improve" wave, which hurts more after 15+ years and a Graphic Design degree. By that logic I should be great

Drew another character for Decorum!
This one's Sana, she's another of my very old ocs that's gone through a lot of redesigns (and cringe middle school me may have made her a self-insert)

I finished the title page illustration for the game I'm working on. I suck at backgrounds so I'm proud of how it turned out. My mood hasn't been great lately but I'm trying to make progress

On a different note, I've been drawing a massive Noise in the ocean on wplace.live bc I have been Obsessed. Drawing 100 pixels at a time means this has been taking Forever

I've been working on a game (not the one I was already posting about)! The plan right now is to have a playable version by the end of September
