The US media is ignoring this (a news organization cowing to political pressure should be important, freedom of the press!)
They did not ignore it when the BBC was in the wrong (editing trump's address on Jan 6 to remove the peaceful comments), so BBC coverage is newsworthy. But only one way...

I love sports fanfic. Dylan Harper (Spurs rookie) has accomplished something very extraordinary! Only one other has done it!!
Except:
- the other guy? De'aron Fox, not exactly a superstar
- in less than a sec I found another rookie who had better pts/rbs/asts over his first the 3 games (VJ Edgecomb)

There's something quaint about sports coverage being quite opinionated. Imagine the political equivalent: did anyone talk about trump's downfall when he was just indicted? No, and not even after he was convicted! Billups may even beat the charges, but for ESPN, he's cooked.

What happens? Nothing, because Congress has the power of the purse, and tariffs are federal revenues. So if they pass an agreement to fund the gov, federal monies (tariffs and other taxes) will be returned to healthcare

Note to Jeffries: even asking for something as small as restoring ACA cuts in exchange to fund the government will not stop the media from describing the two parties as equally responsible in a stalemate.
