Attorney Siri is now pontificating about VAERS and is falsely claiming that submitting a report to VAERS is difficult.

This claim is laughable. Literally anyone can submit a report there.

Pretty notable, in my view, that Kagan points out the Supreme Court's pro-gerrymandering decision in Texas is a step-by-step instruction manual for states to draw discriminatory maps while ducking judicial review, and the majority has...nothing to say in response www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

Spending 41 minutes deliberating and then deciding to kill two men clinging to the debris of their boat is nothing more or less than premeditated murder.

There is no rationale that justifies this. There is no magic sequence of words or arguments that excuses it.

It was cold-blooded murder.

The fundamental problem here is that Ukrainians see what has happened wherever Putin has conquered - oppression, murder, stealing children - and do not want that for themselves or their loved ones

Maybe you're okay with Ukrainians being raped to death in torture chambers, but they aren't!

Rand Paul could have prevented Pete Hegseth from being confirmed as Defense Secretary. Instead, he voted for him — a manifestly unqualified candidate — to run the Defense Department. Now, we're here.
Rand Paul tells me that he wants the full video of the Venezuelan boat strike released.

“And I think if the public sees images of people clinging to boat debris and being blown up, I think that there is a chance that finally, the public will get interested enough in this to stop this.”

Wow, Adm. Holsey didn't leave of his own accord, Hegseth pushed him out. What looked like the SOCOM head resigning rather than do war crimes now looks like SecDef canning him to facilitate war crimes.

Congress should have him testify, and would've already if war-crime-sympathetic GOP didn't run it.
Exclusive | Hegseth Asked Top Admiral to Resign After Months of Discord
The relationship between the Pentagon chief and Adm. Alvin Holsey had been rocky since Trump’s inauguration.

Say they murdered them and keep lying about it even though their is public evidence they murdered those people and keep lying about it
The Trump administration is coming under increased scrutiny over senior officials’ shifting explanations for the actions surrounding two September strikes by U.S. forces on a boat that was allegedly smuggling drugs in the Caribbean Sea.

I made fun of the Bulwark for interviewing Olivia Nuzzi, but I think it was actually revelatory that they asked her if she thinks she should have said something when a man hellbent on murdering children was being confirmed by the Senate and she started crying.
Today is the start of 2 days of meetings of RFK Jr.'s ACIP, where vaccines skeptics outnumber actual scientists and medial experts. Their target: the Hep B vaccine, which has a ~90-98% (after 3 doses) effectiveness rate in preventing infection for up to 30 yrs.

Doctors warn delaying hepatitis B shot for newborns could revive a deadly threat
As RFK Jr.'s new vaccine panel ponders changing the hepatitis B vaccination schedule, some doctors recall past patients, including children, who died painful deaths before there was a vaccine.

Been off for a while and the job hunt is pretty bad.

Haven’t had a lot of luck on here in the past but worth a shot.

Really looking for any break into the environmental science or policy realm. Willing to take a pay cut. It’s been probably the most demoralizing experience in recent memory.

Solar’s price drop is astonishing: panels are now 98% cheaper than when I first analyzed them in 2004.

Today, building a fence with solar can be cheaper than using wood.

IMO, the heat pump water heater credit was the best deal for homeowners in the IRA. Upgrade by the end of the year to qualify for the tax credit.

If you are on gas, operating costs are just slightly lower. You will save loads vs everything else.
The government is giving away $2,000 to homeowners who upgrade their water heaters — but the incentives disappear in under two months
The increased performance translates to lower electric bills.

Republicans control the majority in Congress right now.

No matter your political party, the idea that DOJ is outright lying or misleading federal judges should be a five-alarm fire for my colleagues.

When will they act?
“We found over 35 cases in which the judges have specifically said what the government is providing…false information. It might be intentionally false information, including false sworn declarations time and again," says Ryan Goodman, law professor at New York University.
