Got #SubstancePainter3D running on #Manjaro #Linux. I had to install it in Windows and then run through wine, because neither Proton nor Wine would run the installer.
I would like to transition to 3D coat soon - but I need to make some money with software I already know first lol.

Huh. That's it. Epic Asset Manager had a couple things it had to do to authorize itself to use my Epic credentials. But after that it was just a one click install. Awesome. Last time I had to compile the source code myself lol

1. Installing Epic Asset Manager seems promising, and hopefully will be the only step. It promises to be an open-source sort of replacement for Epic's own launcher - but geared solely toward developers. I will try to download and install a precompiled UE5 Editor binary.
