Tbf the reason its taken me this long is that I only work on it when I'm watching tv, which is more or less only when we visit the grandparents for lunch and ... when I'm watching the mst3k marathon 😅

some stuff is just supposed to make you *think*, you know? like I hear so many people now who don't seem to recognize what they're feeling other than "good" or "bad" in a given moment anymore, and I swear the vilification and cleansing of fiction under the guise of virtue is the biggest culprit.

sometimes the point of a story is to disgust you! sometimes it's meant to make you feel weird or outraged or confused! it doesn't mean you have to like it or even seek it out, but there is an emotional maturity that comes with knowing how to recognize and interact with these feelings thru fiction.

In a much lower stakes adjacent thing, these thoughts always return when VA drama crops up with fans going to war because x has bad opinions about ships/characters/etc and getting pissy about them ~representing the thing~ when their sm is obviously personal space.

I desperately wish we could return to the days of clear lines between work and personal accounts and stop mixing streams! Access to People of Note has given certain insights into the kind of people they truly are but also feels like its rotted brains on both end of that social "relationship"

Conceptually they are not so hard! I think given another attempt I'll get the shape a little closer to what it needs to be... also I wont be panic hiding the fact that I ran out of light gray wool 😂 also boy is that not a great color to try to photograph at night
