Ooo it's been a while I feel so SO satisfied of an ending, and this book didn't disappoint! Love it!

I've read a few of the writer's works and so far they have faes inspired by winter and summer. Will there be Spring and Autumn faes someday? I look forward to it. 👀 #cerureads

Very easy and healing read! Nothing life-changing but I enjoyed it tons! #cerureads

This book felt like the writer poured all their unwritten regrets from book 1 into this book, which makes the plot somewhat similar to the first book.

The characters are familiar and feels like home, but I may not pursue further series volumes immediately if they're all similar...

This series is slowly-but-surely encroaching my life, no thanks to icha.

Vol 1 is an easy read, but the protagonists are still far from the main mystery. The characters are established well, and there's never a dull moment. 👌👌👌

Cozy read. The writer has a simple vision, and was able to achieve it with smooth writing. Kudos! 👏

Simple and cozy plot. I love the connections built and feel that there could be more from other characters, but it is still very much Helen's story and it's important for it to that way.

Mixed feelings with this continuation. I love the concept, but the waves of tragedy and deaths made it difficult for me to feel attached to any characters (and plot lol). I'd probably still read their continuation because the curiosity remains, but gosh, such a heavy book...

16 novels, 11 mangas.

This is my peak month in novel reading, and 2nd highest total since May. My reading amount increased lots coz there's a goal I have in mind, so a lil' more focus was put on reading. 👀

Inspired to give this book because it includes a magic typewriter.

Genre is not my usual read, and I was thrown off by how it became a wartime historical fiction, but I empathise with FeMC's feelings on writing, enjoyed the lore and felt the plot was nicely planned and executed.

This book reminds me of the times I tried reading sutras: I glimpsed at what seemed like nuggets of wisdom in the Sea of Things That Are Beyond Me.

tl;dr the scale of this book is beyond my comprehension but I enjoyed what I could get out from this book.

Did its job as a filler, cozy read! But boy does it leave me with a craving for playing a farm/cafe sim game...

(Should I go back to Stardew Valley...?)

The first few pages had me wonder why are the characters so shallow and dumb. The fire chief's rant (which is Chilling as it parallels Something ongoing) made me realize why.

Surprisingly short read.

Short and easy read! Enjoyed the concise story of the protagonist's growth, and how the story circled to the end.

This book is for people who tend to ponder the what-ifs and regrets in their life's choice.

Love its concept and the message it's telling. owob

I thought BOBHaven would be my highlight of the year, but this stole the crown.

It's so jarring in the beginning because it's so unlike others! but once I got use to the flow, it's beautiful. I usually read fast, but I slowed my reading speed for this.

This will haunt me for some time.

A cozy read that wrung too much tears out of me near the end of the book! It's not a tragedy but it centers around grief and death, and some arcs hit SO HARD! T_T

Interesting concept: the story is pieced together by a cleric through an old lady's remembrance as forgotten relics were rediscovered. A very light and quick read.

Reads like butter: heavy and rich. I thought it'd be a Murder Mystery, but it was more of a critique in societal expectations on Japanese Women + one's influence on others may be good or bad + lots of yummy food refs.

What is structure, roles and the meaning of life in a fallen society? What is it about being human? This book is about a girl who thinks herself not human (due to her difference with others and lack of history), explores these themes, and discovers that she is human after all.

Surprisingly cozy and entertaining read!

Most series tend to have similar beats between books but all events resolved in a fairly diff timing that I could never get bored. 3rd book of trilogy felt like returning home due to Reasons, and the ending left me pining for more... 🥲

9 novels, 1 manga.

It's funny coz there's a reading drought in the middle of the month, but traveling allowed me to finish various library loans.

Can't believe it's been 10 months!

Hubby: I thought you're not into yuri!

Me: It's gaming-related and the plot looks interesting even if I may not be into certain genre!

Thoughts? I got every single gaming refs coz writer's apparently a JRPG fan. Some POVs are cringey, not a fan of duo miscomms BUT I don't hate it! uwub #cerureads

Love the concept and plot, but book is so packed that I could barely feel for the characters... I expected some stuff to be postponed to 2nd book, only to find the story Complete. 2nd book apparenty covers a totally different pair?

Might give the series one more try.

An easy read, though the stories get heavier as it progressed... I appreciate the third POV's indigenous insight as well as how therapy and own's determination plays a role in recovery.
