I almost feel like I should apologize for posting a lot about politics, but I am frankly disgusted and horrified by the immense amount of evil, corruption, and cruelty coming from the U.S. federal government. I am ashamed to be a U.S. citizen and want to eventually move to a different country.

It's crazy to me that Animal Crossing Crocs cost $84.99 and the game itself (Animal Crossing: New Horizons) costs $59.99.

My spouse is no longer eligible for a Federal Pell Grant, but our income did not significantly change between their previous FAFSA application in March and their most recent application this month. This seems sketchy and related to the corrupt Trump regime gutting the Department of Education.

How come sometimes when I mark an email as spam in Gmail it offers to block that address and sometimes it doesn't? I can't figure out the behavior. Gmail sometimes offers to block an address when marking an email as spam, but not always, because the option depends on specific details of the sender and how Gmail’s system categorizes the email origin. The “Block” feature typically appears when Gmail recognizes a clear, individual sender address, allowing further action directly against future emails from that sender. In cases where the spam comes from a sender using random or frequently changing email addresses (common with sophisticated spammers), the block option may not show, as Gmail cannot reliably target repeating addresses.

While authoritarians promote division and hatred, we promote unity, inclusion, and an agenda based on economic, social, racial, and environmental justice. We must take the opportunity to reconceptualize a genuinely progressive global community based on human solidarity, that recognizes that every person on this planet shares a common humanity, that we all want our children to grow up healthy, to have a good education, have decent jobs, drink clean water, breathe clean air, and live in peace. Lastly, and most importantly, the American people, no matter what their political persuasion, must make it clear that American democracy will not be destroyed.

And why do they want to cut all of these programs that are so important to the working families of our country? The answer is very simple: they want to give massive tax cuts to the richest people in America. In their program, they are going to give over $1 trillion to the top 1%, paid for by programs working people rely on to survive all while adding trillions of dollars to the debt. And mark my words, the next time any piece of legislation comes before Congress that would help the working class of this country, these very same Republicans will once again find religion on "deficit reduction." What a joke.
