A well-camouflaged marsh bird with intricate patterning stands on a moss-covered log in a forest wetland. Its elongated neck and slender, pointed bill are perfectly adapted for hunting in shallow waters. The bird's plumage features beautiful buff and brown markings with black speckles across its back, while its underside is cream-colored with subtle spots. Its alert pose and watchful eye suggest it's scanning for movement in the surrounding vegetation.
