Bottom line: there is a global story that is really positive here. Markets winning, consumers winning, environment winning. US coverage is so focused on our own internal politics and dysfunction that we not only miss the big picture but also risk getting overtaken by our global competitors.

There are reasons to want to kill Target. I just didn't see why the AI initiative would cause that reaction.

For what? Serious question. For adding shopping to AI, or AI to shopping, or something? Obnoxious maybe, but why deserving of ritualistic death?
