Today we celebrate Juneteenth—the day enslaved people in Texas
learned they were free, 2.5 years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Consider: supporting Black-owned businesses, learning about Black history, or donating to organizations fighting for racial justice.

As a first-generation student, there is so much that you don't know that it is hard to even ask questions. Then you waste so much time finding things out for yourself that you are often playing from behind. I am grateful that I found mentors to help me along the way. Good mentoring is essential.

ATTENTION: NSF GRANT RECIPIENTS

We received a heads up from a trusted source that you should proactively download/print/screen shot any documentation on research.gov pertaining to your NSF awards, both those that are current and any that have closed in the last 5-6 years.

So grown men who illegally protest the legal transfer of power get pardoned, but student protestors on private property get expelled and deported? Make it make sense. #AcademicChatter

This is also a better idea than Aaron Rodgers.

Name someone you would rather see at QB for the Steelers than Aaron Rodgers. I will go first: Cam Newton, and yes I know he hasn't played in years, but still a better look, smh. #nflsky #Steelers
