Disaster relief has been handled more or less efficiently under different administrations.
And funded at different levels.
Generally, Democratic administrations are more competent and generous.
But, only Trump and his Republican helpers in Congress have made it this partisan and difficult.

70 years ago today, Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a Montgomery city bus — an act of civil disobedience that sparked the #MontgomeryBusBoycott and helped transform our nation. Her courage continues to inspire us as we push forward in the fight for civil rights.

When yall say things like everyone is poor it makes me realize that you have not actually looked poverty in the face.
It is absolutely disingenuous for anyone to liken him/herself to people who cannot pay bills, who are unhoused, who truly have empty cupboards, who do not have warm sheets.
