ICE agent refers to immigrants in detention centers as “animals” and admits to denying them medical care.

This happened during a raid in upstate NY last month. The news outlet obtained body cam footage, but on its website it only posted a transcript and not the actual video w/audio.

"I would not let anybody out of their cells, so we did it in an orderly fashion, had them all lined up. It's bathroom time, or it's f- brush your teeth time, or it's food time. Other than that, nope, your a- is staying in there. 'But you can't do that.' | absolutely can. 'I need a phone call.' No you don't. 'I need to go to medical. Nope, you look good to me," the agent said, mimicking a conversation with a person detained.
He continued to say that they kept the bathrooms inside the cells where people were held.
"They're, they're animals anyway. That's what I would tell my kids all the time," said the agent, who said he worked in the "intelligence unit."

If a person gets injured while being detained by ICE, or becomes gravely ill while in ICE detention and is taken to a hospital, are Republicans saying the hospitals shouldn’t be reimbursed, especially if ICE agents or negligent staff at detention centers led to the person needing care?

DHS says kids were not zip-tied during the apartment raid last week. I guess they expect the public to automatically believe them.
