I was taught how to use a dictionary in either 1st or 2nd grade by my teacher since I kept asking her what certain words meant. It was a children's dictionary and I think those still exist. I do think at least physical dictionaries have to be taught to some extent.

NYU literally has a campus in Abu Dhabi but no one is protesting for that to close the way they did for their Israeli campus.
They should both be closed but the indifference to one is a bit telling.

The RSF and SAF have seriously hurt living breathing people who have had to experience the brutal consequences of their atrocities.
The RSF being downright demonic in its conduct doesn't mean you downplay the real cruelty that has happened to the SAF's victims. Those people still exist.

I was born in a country where this war has just spilled into, raised by people who have direct experiences of what military rule is like, with family friends who still have people in Sudan.

One of my fears is this eventually applying to Trump. We all plan to celebrate when he's gone but then somehow end up in the timeline where he wasn't actually the worst to come.
