📌 The Olympic Games are regularly a significant target for counterfeiting and ambush marketing. Protecting the Olympic brand is critical not only to preserving the values of the Games, but also to supporting athletes and ensuring the Olympic solidarity funding model.

📌 Getting ready for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games and the LA28 Olympics: We prepared with the communication teams from National Olympic Committees, International Federations and Organising Committees in Olympic House in Lausanne this week.

🔹 Launched at the inaugural YOG in Singapore in 2010, the IOC Young Reporters Programme has so far trained 126 participants from 68 countries. Many alumni have gone on to work at the Olympic Games or for major broadcasters, digital platforms and news agencies.

🔹 The LA28 Fellowship is a one-year paid placement, consisting of two six-month rotations within LA28’s operating teams.

🔹 Since its launch in 2021, the programme has inducted 39 athletes from 16 countries and 21 sports into various LA28 departments.
