That seems insane even for central. Are they redoing all the duct work from scratch? Out of gold? Agreeing re: get a 2nd opinion but failing that I'd just say fuck it and pop a couple of those $200-400 window units in. That and box fans kept my family going when we were broke growing up. I'm sorry.

Also the reason his hair is white here isn't age but magical fuckery. He does gray early but the very rapid shift to white generally happens after his body undergoes some sort of serious magical shock that causes a rapid loss of vitality.

Hahaha NICE. I only used the barrels infrequently, never really got in the habit of it due to them being too heavy for my wimpy wizard noodle arms--but I saw the power of explosives during the Raphael fight. I could see how a whole playthrough like that would be veeeerry fun.

Yep it's the sense of self that is really key. He's fine giving up many other parts of humanity (or so he thinks) but he must remain himself no matter what. I think illithid would be a hard sell for that reason, but by this point he's been tadpoling heavily already & nothing bad happened (yet)...

Finally finished #BG3! WHAT A GAME. The finale had some fun choices--of the "how much will you screw everyone over to chase power" sort, sure, but it also gave Hyden a chance to act on his transhumanism.

Sickly, running out his clock, offered the choice to turn illithid--it's tempting, right?

My Baldur's Gate 3 Tav holds the supreme tadpole while contemplating turning into a big evil purple squid and subjugating the world with his giant brain

Things have definitely shifted. I miss ppl being more open about OCs & interacting with each other's stories... I try to keep the spirit alive drawing lil cameo stuff for peeps who interact w/ me, happily discussing OC playdates and crossovers, etc. But if I get a disinterested vibe I'll back off.
