and when they work, taxes for Soc Sec and Medicare are taken out, Federal income taxes that fund Medicaid and SNAP are taken out, when they buy things, State and local taxes are paid.
Despite paying all these taxes, they are not allowed to benefit.

I have family that are (were, now they're trying to distance themselves) so I have to interpret sometimes.
