The TL;DR is that my dad passed away really suddenly and I had to uproot my life to take over. I don't feel like I ever properly processed my grief and struggled a lot. He was my biggest supporter of me as an artist and losing him hit me so fucking hard.

I really wish I could’ve gone with her, I’ve never been to Japan and it’s definitely a dream destination but it’s sooo out of my budget. My best friend moved there to teach English and I haven’t seen her in 7+ years so I really want to get out there one day!!!

I’ll be watching my sister’s dogs while she’s in Japan, then as soon as she gets back I’m going on a short trip, so no art or streams or anything until mid-October! I just got adjusted to my work schedule so I should be ready to go when I get back :-)

I kinda love the old MMO grind! I played a lot of them as a kid and kinda just like idly doing tasks so honestly the standard mmo experience is kinda a plus to me hehe

I’ve seen people get REALLY into the story and characters so I wouldn’t mind something to hyperfixate on LOL, I’m sad you never got far into gw2 because I loved HoT but yeah there’s a big problem with struggling to get thru old content alone :(( hit me up if you ever want to play again though!!

I know absolutely nothing about final fantasy in any capacity so it seems kinda fun to jump into something brand new, guild wars is kind of overwhelming me by how far behind I’ve fallen and how much of what I knew has changed. I dearly love that game, I might just not be ready to come back 📝

I’ve had the itch to get back into an MMO for a while and I’m wondering if I should try to catch back up in Guild Wars 2 or try out FFXIV.

I’ve played 2k+ hours of GW2 and maybe 7 hours of FFXIV (free trial) a long time ago

Are there any players of either game out there that can help me decide LOL
