Tech for good, for people, for orgs. Less tech, and slower too. Popping balls through hoops, open source, learning guitar, making prints, building with wood. Ōtepoti, Aotearoa.
I didn't have a piece in mind for you, just wanted to recommend CounterFutures generally as a strong left resource, then I saw that article from issue 1 I guess ... which I will read, now!

Perhaps counterfutures.nz/1/ongley.pdf ?

I'm finding CounterFutures great: counterfutures.nz - I think most articles are available online some time after publication? I'm getting print copies locally though.

Thinking back over houses/flats, feels like villas has this and bungalows did not - ends by the 20s?

Our 1949 home has no inside locks.

Maybe for boarders, or family, or cos the papers were full of scary crime and interior locks sold as a safety feature in new builds?

Any chain latches or bolts?

I agree, it doesn't look useful.

Perhaps motivated by "we can't use system X for this, and we can't use system Y for that"?

Did they promise to never mix things when folks pushed back in the past?

(Except by adding a new system to the mix, ofc.)

I had two!

Maybe I'm the problem. Taking too many NHI numbers. So entitled.

MCANZ article from 2022 says the funding options are/were: Pharmac (Epidiolex only at that time), ACC and WINZ.

Not being on funding improving since then. Some providers offer Community Services Card discounts also.

Hope you can find better answers!
