Good news on London air quality!
And boy are we short of good news!
#nitrogen #pollution

For the first time ever, London has met legal limits for nitrogen dioxide.

When I became Mayor, we were told it would take 193 years. We did it 184 years earlier than expected.

Cleaner air means a healthier city and big savings for the NHS.

Thanks Mark much appreciated. Happy to be feisty and stand up for nature

Marine protected sites should not be treated as dumps!!!

This looks good and feisty! And it is important for the site and for other MCZs.

Glad to see a Wildlife Trust acting in this way.

We're taking legal action to stop 100,000 tonnes of sediment being dumped in Beachy Head West Marine Conservation Zone every year for the next 10 years. This should not be allowed in a protected area.

Super-proud of my colleagues that we are taking a stand. Marine protected sites are all too often protected in name only.

Great to be working with Leigh Day and the Environmental Law Foundation

Please read the blog for the full story and details of how you can help

Why #diversity matters at the Sussex Wildlife Trust. We will only save nature if everyone gets involved. But to make this happen needs a shift in our approach.

If yoy are not interested in #moths lool away now!
I'm always amazed how many migrant moths come across the channel at this time of year. It mustbe millions, or even 10s of millions. A joy when species like the Olive tree Pearl turns up in your garden moth trap
