I was thirteen when it came out and I remember being blown away first time I saw it in the theater. I remember watching the original 1933 version to get pumped up for it. Still one of my favorite movies from my teenage years and definitely one of the best remakes ever.

I'm autistic too, and there's a part of me that thinks the same thing. Still an incredible movie twenty years later.
