Worth noting that this is a current rep out right saying that democratic representatives do not care about what their constituents are saying
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.
Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Recently heard this song, and it contained the line “why should I worry about rocking a sinking boat” and I think more of our politicians should take that to heart with how America is collapsing and our reps have decided decorum and adherence to “norms” is more important

Everyone, support you local library, go to events, sign up for stuff, borrow books. Even if you’ll never use it once, get a library card. Metrics like card sign ups and even registration are integral for keeping your local library funded and functional.
