Genuinely trying to be helpful here when I say that there are zero ways to sloganize disruption of our oppressive status quo that people who have even the slightest investment in maintaining it as is won't intentionally misinterpret or willfully misunderstand.

I am begging everyone to not confuse a clear and broadly popular slogan with one that needed a footnote and a paragraph of explanation.
"Abolish ICE" and "defund the police" are both reasonable and correct on the merits but were absolutely neutered by centrists smearing them as radical activist overreach.
