After some experimenting (and failures) last week, I've deployed Anubis from @techaro.lol on Hosted @weblate.org The impact on server load is just incredible.

It will be easier to see a state of @weblate.org issue in GitHub tracker. We're slowly introducing labels tracking the issue state and automatically updating them as the issue progresses.

Code scanning alerts at python-social-auth were activated months ago, and now we finally got to zero alerts. Most of them have been fixed, but few were dismissed, as some third-party services still rely on MD5 in their API in 2025. This is now properly documented in our code.

I'd not call that “approaching”, but I get the message. Weblate Docker build seems to be creating a unique cache for each bleeding build and never reusing it thanks to our cache key depending on Dockerfile which contains Git commit hash. Oops.

Finally, localized documentation for @weblate.org builds without errors. I've learned that there are many ways to break reStructuredText syntax, with extra or missing spaces in links in the references. Weblate 5.10 will cover most of this with two new checks. docs.weblate.org/en/...

Let's fix bugs in @weblate.org documentation translations. There are broken internal links or reStructuredText syntax errors. Failing CI jobs are now in place, and Weblate checks to expose this to the translators are on the way. github.com/WeblateOr...

Having a USB-C charging standard is great. Until you get chargers like this one with USB-C connector and 9V. Using that would be a great way to kill some devices. Apparently, GTMEDIA just replaced the original DC port with USB-C without other changes to the device and the charger
