My god @cinderellimouse.bsky.social is such a big brain 😭 You can use the Getaway system to visit a haunted house, add a role for ghosts to use evil ghost mastery, and play with both Paranormal and L&D without having to live there! This is so good! 😭😭

I was also able to travel to another venue as the Host Sim and return to the home lot. The Getaway continued running.

I was also asked if I could run a Getaway on my home lot and still have teenagers actively attend High School. I was able to do so (the teen was not assigned to a role in the Getaway though). I still received payment and the Getaway was active when I reloaded the home lot.

hold on... she didn't actually go. I think it might be buggy. I recommend holding off on going on a getaway as a uni student until your Sim is between courses.

Some of you have been asking about university classes and Getaways because they work a little differently than regular careers. I'm testing it now and the Sim still needs to go to class when she is hosting the Getaway on her home lot.

You can download and use custom schedules from the gallery! However, there's a bit of a trick to it. I'll walk you through it in this tutorial.

I'm just sending a Sim to uni now actually! I'll try and check for you. I do know that it's usually treated like a vacation, not sure if it's the same for uni students.

It's a good idea to save your custom schedules to the gallery as a Custom Venue lot. Schedules/Getaways are per save game, so if you want them in other saves, use the gallery to transfer them!
