Better to have Netflix buy it than the Ellison family. CNN and other cable assets will be spun off. If the Ellison family buys it, they will own CNN, CBS and a share of Tik Tok so they can promote more fascist propaganda.

That’s because this deal was existential to everyone and both Comcast and Netflix were not going to back down in the face of Paramount’s Nepo Baby and Big Daddy shaking a Trump stick at them. Or be scared off by the money. Enough was enough. Still a hard road for any acquirer but fascinating.

I am so glad Trump is incompetent. He was given a strong economy and he screwed everything up with his tariffs. Republicans will be voted out in 2026!
