The #aurora bar chart data peaked this morning to possibly some more activity tomorrow. Not sure of ACE EPAM proton rate yet. Here are 3 quick sketches of an #AuroraBorealis I did on my mobile phone a while ago using my imagination: #sunspot #Geoscience #CME #NorthernLights #SolarFlare #solarstorm

Got up to visit bathroom then had a quick check outside - only this video of #stars & the Moon but in the background possibly some #Auroraborealis Aurora Borealis, Northern Lights #NorthernLights #geomagneticstorm #SolarStorm from a slight warm hue above & to the North of the #sky. #Astronomy #space

Though loads of ppl only want to show off their wealth, expensive holidays or appreance. Maybe it's the key to getting more followers on SM because the algorithms are geared towards it but if not, there must be an evolutionary reason & for me, it's totally fascinating from a scientific point of view

Ref the other platform, so my apologies including it here if you've left there, but this is a screenshot of Grok's amusing interpretation on the physics of the whimsical world of neutrinos thread I wrote originally on that platform (1st link), of which I copied here (2nd link).

Moon through clouds...
November 9, 2025 at 4:30 AM
I've just woken up & feel a bit hungry! Might grab a snack (not that it'd do much for me as I'd burn it off quick)but then I'm thinking of having a quick glance at the dark sky too from a window(assuming there are no clouds) & it's also just an excuse to do some more astronomy.

Telescopes on QVC (TV) live now if you're interested in astronomy!

Hya Marcus.

This is what I like about the science called physics. I recently wrote a whimsical thread on this subject (linked).

These particles have very intriguing properties...

Thanks for sharing!

Just to add, I've also got a remote controlled Mini Helicopter but forgot I'd left it on a shelf in a bag on its own, so I'll get that out & add it to this collection & a photo of it in the next wk. I've probably got more small model airplanes stored away too but smaller in scale & type. This is most

- continuing my collection of grown up toys (childhood hobby), these are my remote (& 2 radio controlled) cars & buggies I bought over recent yrs. Unlike model airplanes I used to play with when I was younger as in my previous tweet, I didn't have remote controlled cars so this is a more recent set.

Short Thread

The rare times I'd spend with my Dad after my parents divorce mid 70s, we'd go to a park & play with model aeroplanes (usually Balsa Wood & elastic band types) & I made paper aeroplanes at home. Here's my collection I dug out a few days ago I bought yrs ago (amongst other items).

Suncloud

The late afternoon Sun shines on a cloud in the North East direction, creating a warm glow from the sky.

Nature's wonders are there to be enjoyed if stopping & looking around with more interest & depth.

There's a cool wind now, blowing the cloud away towards the East.

Originating from outside our Solar System, comet C/2025 A6 & also named #cometlemmon, can be spotted in the Northwest sky from the UK.

This comet is made of ice & when approaching the Sun, melts to create a dusty bright tail.

With a very elongated orbit, it can be seen into next month of November.

Specifically, & obviously scientifically it's tomorrow Sunday at 2 am, but if you put your clocks back tonight, you'll get more shelf room sooner!

Here's a photo of last night's #Sunset.

It was the most spectacular I've seen & had a beautiful colour & vibrancy about it.

Incredible that the nearest star, our Sun plus the Earth's atmosphere, can create such natural wonders.

I really enjoy watching great sunsets when they're there in the sky.

I rarely use AI directly as an aid but I'm also very aware it's integrated into many systems now, that can't be avoided, so this shows 1 of its uses as a choice. Because it interpreted a thread I wrote, it included my childhood start in science in the mid 1970s using books, which is a valuable fact.

AI isn't always good (from other platform)

At 1st glance, it looks like a real photo but upon looking at it closer, notice that there are lots of inaccuracies. E.g 2nd lamp post on the left doesn't have a pole. The tops of the chimneys are irregular. The windows don't have the correct perspective.

Internet Outage #outage down status #downstatus #cyberattack this morning & my reply in a chat room.

The tip of the iceberg if we're to improve online goods & services.

I'm hoping critical services are protected but I could be wrong.

I'm the replier in the screenshot.

Memory is part of intelligence, but thinking & its patterns, change perception of information that would otherwise be useless & stagnant for problem solving. Rarely are #thinking skills taught in education because like creativity, they're hard to measure but it doesn't mean they're less important.

Ok, it's got this spot on (the other platform). Towards the end of its summary, it's also very accurate too as I don't get many views for the amount of effort I've put into writing but that's the way it is. I don't use Grok a lot so this is 1 informative angle on my use of that platform over the yrs
