Actually he was more appropriate than almost anyone other business-y person who's called me at work. He did not act as if his interruption was a wild imposition, nor did he try to keep having a whole conversation

he managed to get to 'thank you for your generous donation', and when I said, "yep, sure, you're welcome" he graciously just went with, "and that's pretty much all I called to say." Good man. He's fairly awkward but he's met me twice and called me at least once as well and he knows when to bow out

he phoned. I sent it to voicemail with an autoreply text. I called the number back, he introduced himself, and I introduced myself like I do to the operator or a colleague I've never met. "hi, this is [name], the [job title]. sorry, that's not ... relevant."

Am I misunderstanding the plan -- in what way is that not a skylight, essentially? Isn't that the "first floor" bedroom, ie up the stairs? I don't have a great handle on why the first floor bedroom doesn't have any windows in the walls but who would be above it? Or have I got it wrong
