Book 5 of 2025 and it was an absolute winner. David Mitchell's #unruly . A funny but accurate account of the England's kings and queens from as far back as can be traced until the death of Elizabeth in 1603. I loved every slightly sweary page of it.

I've just finished my first Stephen King in many years and I really enjoyed it. He certainly knows how to tell a story and Holly is a very appealing character.

Just finished, the Good People by Hannah Kent. A story set in 1825, in Catholic Ireland, a time when beliefs in fairies, changelings and superstition ran wild. In this atmosphere, three women gather to save a child, their good intentions end in murder.
