As a youngster 8-12 yrs old my mum sent me off to the Greengrocers regularly for the veg, every time 5lbs of King Edwards potatoes, always gorgeous, msshed, roasted. Why are they so tasteless nowdays? Another example if only a small one of the failure of the progress of time.
