Correct take here. I thought since they flooded the channel with so much garbage the star wars fan might become more discerning, but if anything, the opposite seems to have happened.

ranking comedies specifically is inherently a doomed enterprise because you're trying to balance a movie's Importance and Historical Context with the movie's laffs and chuckles. you can't win, you can only make people mad. that said, only #15 for jacques tati's masterpiece Playtime is outrageous
The movie listed at #1 is so incredibly misplaced that it calls into question the veracity of the entire list. It belongs on the list, yes, but SO MUCH further down. An absolute, credibility-wrecking flub. Boo, @variety.com! Boo!

I'm 7 hours in and the new Pokémon game seems mind numbingly bad?
Like, the map is entirely one note (same tiles repeated over and over) and as near as I can tell you can do exactly 3 things in this game. Catch Pokémon, pick things up, fight Pokémon.
