I volunteer for Ballots for Patients (don't dox me), which helps people in hospitals be able to vote. Anyone from new moms to psychiatric stays. Paul said many times he wanted to eventually expand it to nursing homes and other institutions too, a disenfranchised group.

Paul was a local advocate. The kind who is held dearly in the hearts of those whose lives he touched - who are many - but may not be known much outside the local area.

He helped me when my security deposit was being held illegally. He just wanted to help a friend.

Books: the Winternight trilogy, historical fiction that weaves in folklore from its setting of medieval Russia. Themes of complicated family relationships, oppressive religion, and romance with ancient gods.

Webcomics: Namesake. It's based on public domain fairy tales. It's been running for over 15 years. The artist is here on Bluesky @secondlina.com you may recognize them from those cute, popular crow comics.
